Society for the Performing Arts seeks to present a wide array of artists and performances for diverse audiences, as well as other opportunities outside the theater. Some of our performances are perfect for two to six year-olds; others may be better suited for teenagers; and some of our events are for mature audiences only. Every child is different, just as every parenting style is different—you know your child best. We urge parents to use their own judgment in selecting what they want their children to experience.

Performance Guidelines
The Family Fun Series, with performances beginning at 2 pm or 7:30 pm, is perfect for children. Many of SPA’s other performances are suitable for children, especially Chava Alberstein, The Song and Dance Ensemble of West Africa, Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater; most of those performances begin at 8 pm and generally last two hours.
