Glass is returning to demonstrate the creative processes in making the show, dissecting raw materials such as monologues, interviews, and recorded events to craft compelling narratives with careful editing and music. Bones and Memory Dance is a project-based dance company in Houston, TX. Bones and Memory Dance is committed to engaging audiences through unique storytelling and visual imagery. Director Heather vonReichbauer is inspired by the written word and aims to weave literary and allegorical elements into a visual tapestry of movement and music, connecting the audience to the work on a physical and emotional level. vonReichbauer’s distinct gestural vocabulary highlights her narrative approach to dance and resonates in her storytelling. Her work has been presented at 254 -Dance Fest, Rice University, and American Dance Festival’s Acts to Follow . She was a 2016-17 Artist in Residence with Dance Source Houston and an inaugural graduating member of Artist Inc-Houston.
